The Chief Inspector, Hon. Justice Stephen Musota, is at Mukono High for his first visit and inspection in the High Court.

The Chief Inspector was welcomed by the Head of the Circuit, Hon. Justice David Matovu and Hon. Lady Justice Christine Kaahwa.

The purpose of the visit to assess the quality assurance performance, working environment and challenges.

He thanked the Court's leadership for the innovations, fighting backlog and good performance.

He noted with concern the high workload of cases and illegal filing of applications and staff involvement in forgery of letters of administration which matters need disciplinary action and be prosecution.

The Chief Inspector has also interacted with different stakeholders at the Court. He is also touring different facilities at the court premises.
